prof. dr. sc. Renata Miljević - Riđički

Dr. sc. Renata Miljević-Riđički is a full professor of developmental psychology at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb. From the academic year 2011/2012. she was the head of the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Zagreb for 3 years.

She has participated in several scientific and professional conferences in the country and abroad. Participates in domestic and international scientific projects. From 2006 to 2014, she led the research project Methods and Models in the Upbringing and Education of Preschool Children in Kindergartens. From 2012 to 2015 she was the leader of the project team for Croatia in the international (LLP - Comenius) project: RESCUR - A Resilience Curriculum for Early and Primary Schools in Europe (Curriculum for the development of resilience of preschool and school children in Europe), and co-author of the said curriculum. She is an active member of the Society for Psychological Assistance, a member of the Crisis Intervention Team. She is a member of the Croatian Psychological Chamber. From 2011 to 2018, she was a member of the Board of the international network ENSEC - European Network for Social and Emotional Competence. She was one of the two chairpersons and organizers of the 4th ENSEC Conference held in Zagreb in July 2013. She publishes papers in the field of child and developmental psychology, psychology of education, children's rights and developmental education. In 2015, she published the book: Mothers Life Adaptation and their Children’s Cognitive Success. Jastrebarsko: Naklada Slap.
