I graduated in 1998 from the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb. I completed my specialization in psychiatry at the Clinic of Psychiatry, and my specialization in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Clinic for Psychological Medicine of the Medical Faculty in Zagreb at the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb. Since 2016, I have been working in the Republic of Ireland as a consultant for the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. I work as a senior lecturer at the University of Limerick School of Medicine (senior clinical lecturer; Graduate Entry Medical School, University of Limerick, Limerick, Republic of Ireland).
I am a member of the Medical Council of Ireland (equivalent to the Croatian Medical Chamber), the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland and the Royal College of Psychiatrists (United Kingdom). I publish professional and scientific papers, and actively participate in national and international projects and professional conferences.

I completed my specialization in psychiatry in 2006 at the Clinic of Psychiatry, and my specialization in child and adolescent psychiatry in 2011 at the Clinic for Psychological Medicine of the Medical Faculty in Zagreb at the Clinical Hospital Center Zagreb.
From 2002 to 2016, I worked at the University Hospital Center Zagreb, at the Clinic of Psychiatry from 2002 to 2009, and from 2009 to 2016 at the Specialist Institute for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Clinic of Psychological Medicine ( Ambulance, Day Hospital for Adolescents, Clinical Department).
From 2008 to 2015, I attended education and dealt with individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy, psychoanalytic psychodrama with adolescents, group psychotherapy of adolescents and family therapy.
From 2006 to 2015, I worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb (compulsory elective undergraduate and postgraduate courses), and at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Zagreb.
I defended my doctoral thesis entitled "Psychopathological specifics of adolescents with self-injurious behavior" at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zagreb in 2015.
From 2007 to 2014, I worked as an expert associate at the Center for Psychosocial Assistance of the City of Zagreb at the Ministry of Veterans (National Program of Psychosocial and Health Assistance to Participants and Victims of the Homeland War).
Since 2016, I have been working in the Republic of Ireland as a consultant for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. I work as a senior lecturer at the University of Limerick School of Medicine (senior clinical lecturer; Graduate Entry Medical School, University of Limerick, Limerick, Republic of Ireland).
