Mirjana Kolarek Karakaš dr. med.

Mirjana Kolarek Karakaš, MD, a paediatric specialist. She runs a private paediatric practice in Varaždin. She graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, completed her residency in paediatrics and the Mother and Protection postgraduate study. She teaches the Paediatrics course at the University North in Varaždin. She is a member of the Paediatric Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia and the Board of the Croatian Society for Preventive and Social Paediatrics. She is the Deputy Chairperson of the Health Council of Varaždin County and the Chairperson of the Coordination Committee “Županija - prijatelj djece” (County - a Friend of Children). She performs the duty of the secretary of the Medical Association of Varaždin County.
